As a Materials Handling Technician working out of the Langley Branch, you will focus on service and repairs to customer equipment. You may be required to service all the products that Wajax sells and services. Your key roles will be to repair, troubleshoot, service, perform warranty work and maintain Hyster equipment as per manufacturer/customer/Company specifications.

-Recondition and repair equipment and components.

-Plan methods and sequence of performing repairs assigned

-Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required

-Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts, components or systems, using hand and power tools

-Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers’ specifications

-Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment

-Responsible to report all unsafe work and/or processes

-Maintain the work area in a clean and safe condition

-Comply with all Company/Customer Health, Safety & Environment Policies and practices

-Journeyman Heavy Equipment certification, with Interprovincial Red Seal

-Five (5) + years Materials Handling experience

-Hyster experience an asset

-Valid drivers license

-Excellent Customer Service skills

-Computer skills

-Knowledge of geographic Greater Vancouver
