Wajax Industries is currently recruiting for a Crane and Utilities Technician. This position is responsible for performing maintenance, repair and rebuilding of cranes and utilities equipment. The candidate should have experience on digger derricks, bucket trucks, Knuckle and straight boom trucks. All work will be completed in a safe, efficient and capable manner within a shop environment.

The Technician must be able to diagnose faults or malfunctions and adjust, repair, or replace all defective equipment parts, components or systems serviced. This requires strong proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals relating to manufacturer specifications and warranty environments. In order to ensure that the work done satisfies manufacturer’s specifications, the Technician must also test the repaired equipment for proper performance. Must be able to work with minimal supervision but also participate in the work of other technicians and apprentices within the shop environment.

Candidate should have a minimum of five (5) to eight (8) years of experience in the field. They must have a demonstrated ability to efficiently troubleshoot and repair issues in electronic, mechanical, electro/hydraulic systems common to crane utilities equipment products. The candidate should have good communications skills along with a positive attitude.
