Wajax is proud of its heritage and the fact that is has been in business since the dawn of Canada itself. The roots of the company date back to 1858, when operations began under the name BJ Coghlin Company.

In the early 1900s the company changed its name to Watson Jack Company adopting the name of the new primary owner. The acronym of Wajax was first used in 1933 and continues to this day.
